Emma Firenze, a Class of 2013 forward from Baldwinsville, N.Y., has verbally committed to Syracuse, her family has confirmed to ESPNHS.
Firenze plays for Empire United and is a five-time Regional ODP player. She’s played in the ODP National Camp and has travelled with the team to Russia and Costa Rica.
At Baldwinsville (Baldwinsville, N.Y.), Firenze made her mark while earning all-section and a local first-team all-star each of her first three seasons. She was an ESPNHS State All-Star last season and was the 2010 Central New York Co-Player of the Year. This year, she helped lead the Bees to the regional title game in November.
Firenze plans to join her sister, Jackie, at Syracuse. Jackie Firenze has verbally committed to Syracuse for the Class of 2012.
